Arañas Dorados is a cluster of individual single storey 2 bedroom air-conditioned luxury villas each with en suite bathrooms set in 'Luisa by the Sea', a prestigious private development of individually owned villas and cottages in an amazing location on the banks of the River Sal and only a 10 minutes stroll to the idyllic Cavelossim beach and it's20 kms of powder white sand. The villas have an open plan kitchen/dining/living room that opens to exotic colorful gardens and overlook the resident's swimming pool, which is only a few yards away. Arañas Dorados is an ideal haven for those in search of peace and quiet and offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy individual and comfortable accommodation in a picturesque location. Enjoy an early morning walk along the banks of the river and watch the sunrise, the river storks and egrets wading in one of the small inlets, fishing boats going down to the sea and anglers trying their luck, and at the end of the day watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea. There are plenty of choices for eating out as some of the best hotels are located in the area which have international standard restaurants plus entertainment programmes in the evening. There are also a number of locally owned restaurants and barbecues at the shack on the beach.

Cavelossim is located on a narrow peninsular on the one side is the peaceful, lazily meandering River Sal and on the other 20 kms of powder white sand beach and the Arabian Sea - - the perfect idylic retreat! It comes as no surprise that this prime spot has been chosen as the location for several five star hotels including The Holiday Inn and The Leela Palace, Dona Sylvia and Haathi Mahal. There is plenty of choice for eating out as some of the best hotels in Goa are located in the area and each has one or two international standard restaurants plus evening entertainment programmes. There are also a number of locally owned restaurants and there is always the barbecue at the shack on the beach.

For golfers there is a 9 hole golf course at the Leela Palace just 2 kilometres from the Main Gate.

ACCOMMODATION: Each villa has the following:

• Open plan kitchen/dining/living room leading out through patio doors onto the dining terrace.
• The living room has a sofa and chairs for 4 people, wrought iron center table and side tables, lamps and cable TV.
• The kitchen is well equipped and has a two ring gas cooker (gas provided), fridge/freezer, combination microwave oven, basic cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
• Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned and has a double bed with very comfortable mattress, superior quality pillows and bed linen.
• Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned, has twin beds with very comfortable mattress, superior quality pillows and bed linen.
• Ceiling Fans in bedrooms and living rooms.
• Insect screening on all windows.
• Electricity backed up by inverters.
• Maid service 7 times weekly.
• Electricity is 220 V and an international adapter is recommended.
• Telephone (incoming calls and local outgoing calls only.
• Bed Linen and Towels changed twice weekly.

• A 9 hole golf course, available at the Leela Palace is about 2 kilometers from Luisa by the Sea. The course may be used by the hour at approx. (Rupees 450 plus 12% tax)
• Within a few meters from the main gate there are 4 and 5 star Hotels, Restaurants, Beach Shacks, Super Markets, Wine Stores which are well stocked, Cyber Cafes, Money Changers, ATM Machine, Chemists, Dentists, Fruit/Vegetable/Clothing Stalls, and Clothing/Leather/Jewelery Shops.

Changeover days are flexible.  All arrival and departure times can be accommodated.  On arrival day, properties will be available from 2:00 pm. We try to be flexible to accommodate individual arrival times but this cannot be guaranteed.  The latest check in time is 7:00 pm unless by prior arrangement.  On departure day, clients must be ready to leave by 11:00 am and allow us access to service the property from 9:00 am.  Please note that early arrivals may mean that your party has some time waiting to enter your accommodation.  A late departure may mean you have some spare time after vacating the villa. 

Accommodation at Aranas is ideal for group of friends, Couples, Families, Paradise for Anglers, Bird watchers and Golfers.

Larger parties of up to 20 people can be accommodated easily by booking Sol E Mar in conjunction with Arañas Dorados as they are all neighboring villas, belonging to same owner.

Please note that the owners have kindly requested that Arañas Dorados be a`No Smoking property `and has requested that smokers confine smoking to the balconies. No Pets allowed.

The holiday accommodation is booked exclusively for the persons named on the 'Booking Form' - no other person may use the accommodation without our permission.

This property is available for rent for a minimum period of 1 week.
