DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Las Vegas Welcome to Las Vegas. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Your Tour Director will be available this afternoon to welcome you and answer any questions.

Day 2: Las Vegas A full day at leisure to enjoy all this amazing city has to offer – relax by the swimming pool, attend one of the shows, or try your luck at the casinos. Perhaps take a walk along the Strip and watch a volcano erupt at the Mirage, see the musical water fountain ballet at the Bellagio, or a spectacular light show at the "Lake of Dreams" at the Wynn Hotel. Day 3: Las Vegas/Sedona Leaving behind the bright lights of Las Vegas, travel along parts of historic Route 66 into the desert landscape of central Arizona. Visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument before winding through red rock scenery to the quaint town of Sedona, an eclectic mix of Western, Native and New Age cultures. Enjoy free time to shop or visit the town's many art galleries before tonight's Welcome Drink and dinner at the hotel. (FB,D)

Day 4: Sedona/Grand Canyon National Park Journey through dramatic Oak Creek Canyon, enjoying the incredible views. Continue into the pine-covered Kaibab Plateau on the way to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. As the sun sets, delight in a guided stroll along the rim and watch the changing colors on the Canyon's walls. (FB)

Day 5: Grand Canyon/ Navajo Country/Lake Powell There is time this morning to admire the Canyon in the morning light. Perhaps take an optional flightseeing tour for a spectacular bird's eye view of the breathtaking Grand Canyon. Then journey east into the vast Navajo Indian Reservation and stop at an historic Indian trading post with a chance to purchase native handicrafts. Then it's on to Glen Canyon Dam, which spans the Colorado River to form the deep blue waters of beautiful Lake Powell. (FB,D)

Day 6: Lake Powell/Zion National Park The incredible beauty of southern Utah comes to life today on the scenic drive to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. Arrive in Zion National Park and explore the area carved by the Virgin River as it winds its way through a narrow green valley known as the "Garden of Eden,” surrounded by rugged granite peaks soaring towards the heavens. Day 7: Bryce Canyon National Park Excursion Passing the Great Arch, witness the amazing results of millions of years of erosion. Next, see the dramatic Checkerboard Mesa. Reach Bryce Canyon National Park, an otherworldly collection of pink, orange and red sandstone spires called "hoodoos." Walk along the rim of the amphitheater and see the magnificent formations carved by Mother Nature into a fantastic landscape of fairy tale castles, cathedrals, and a maze of trails and hideaways. Back at the hotel, join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner this evening. (FB,D)

Day 8: Zion National Park/Depart Las Vegas Travel through the Virgin River Gorge to historic St. George, home of Utah's first Mormon temple. Entering the vast Mojave Desert, arrive back in Las Vegas. Stops are made at Las Vegas McCarran Airport and the Las Vegas hotel for passengers extending their stay. Please do not schedule any flights before 2 p.m. (FB)
