DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart USA Board your overnight transatlantic flight (cost not included in land only price).

Day 2: Arrive in London, England Check in at your hotel, then your time is free. Accommodation: Hilton Olympia or similar.

Day 3: London/Stonehenge/Bath/Bristol Head to Salisbury and see the elegant cathedral. Then on to visit Stonehenge. Travel to Bath. Admire the Georgian architecture and visit the Roman Baths. In Bristol, relish a pub meal and drinks at the Welcome Pub Recption. Accommodation: Radisson Blue or similar. (CB, Welcome Pub Reception)

Day 4: Bristorl/Chester/Lake District Head north to Chester to see the Roman Walls, the cathedral and the balck and white timbered buildings. Then on to the Lake District. Accommodation: Castle Green or similar. (B,D)

Day 5: Lake District/Grasmere/Edinhurgh, Scotland Visit Grasmere where the poet William Wordsworth is buried. Then head to Scottish border and Gretna Green. Continue on to Edinburgh. Accommodation: Holiday Inn Edinburgh or similar. (B)

Day 6: Edinburgh Sightseeing & At Leisure Discover elegant Edinburgh on a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide, seeing the Royal Mile, Holyrood House and Arthur's Seat, then visit the splendid castle. The balance of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Holiday Inn Edinburgh or similar. (B)

Day 7: Edinburgh/York, England Stop to view the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey near the Scottish border. Then traverse Northumberland National Park on your way to York. See York Minster and the famous Shambles. Tonight, enjoy a You're Personally Invited Farewell Dinner. Accommodation: Holiday Inn or similar. (B,PID)

Day 8: York/Stratford/London In Conventry, hear the tale of Lady Godiva. Then on to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon to visit his birthplace and see Anne Hathaway's cottage. Travel through the Cotswold countryside on the way back to London . Accommodation: Hilton Olympia or similar. (B)

Day 9: Depart London You will be transferred to the airport (conditions apply) where your vacation ends. (B)

Airport/Hotel Transfers: Unless specified above in the inclusions, transportation between the airport and hotels are not included. Travellers must make their own way to/from hotels via taxi or public transportation.
 
Tour Cancellations:
Not all tour departures are guaranteed. If it becomes necessary to cancel a coach tour prior to departure, we will offer the next available date at no additional land cost. If this is not acceptable, a full refund on all monies paid will be made. We cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to such a tour booking. If you purchase a non-refundable airline ticket, you are advised by these terms and conditions that we are not responsible for any cancellation penalties due to non-refundable airfares.
