DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1 ARRIVE IN WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA.
Upon arrival in the Namibian capital, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2, WINDHOEK / ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK.
Head north and stop for a visit at a local market. Then on to Otjikoto Lake, Namibia's largest. Continue to the lodge, set on the eastern border of the Etosha National Park. (B,D)

Day 3, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK.
An exciting full day in Etosha National Park where you will have an opportunity to observe a variety of wild­life. (B,D)

Day 4, ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK / OUTJO.
Returning to the Park, drive along the immense saltpan, watching for giraffes, elephants, zebras and more. (B,D)

Day 5, OUTJO / DAMARALAND.
An early start takes you to Damaraland. Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg, is found here. Pass scenic landscapes and Damara ­villages before reaching the Petrified Forest. (B,D)

Day 6, DAMARALAND.
See the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, petroglyphs from the Stone Age. Then on to see the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain. Your afternoon is at leisure. (B,D)

Day 7, DAMARALAND / SWAKOPMUND.
Drive south to Henties Bay, a popular vacation spot along the coast. Then proceed to the charming resort of Swakopmund. The balance of the day is free. (B)

Day 8, SWAKOPMUND.
A free day. There is plenty to do here, and your Tour Director can help you plan. Perhaps, enjoy a harbor cruise or take a scenic flight over the Namibia desert. (B)

Day 9, SWAKOPMUND / SOSSUSVLEI.
Travel via Walvis Bay to the edges of the Namib Desert. Continue through the northern region of Namib Naukluft Park, one of Africa’s largest game parks. See Kuiseb Canyon and the Gaub River on the way to Sossusvlei. (B,D)

Day 10, SOSSUSVLEI.
Visit the sand dunes at Sossusvlei, the highest in the world. There is a chance for the energetic to climb to the top of the dunes. Return to the lodge, the balance of the day is free. (B,D)

Day 11, SOSSUSVLEI / WINDHOEK.
Return to Windhoek, arriving at your hotel at approximately 3:00 p.m. or Windhoek Airport by 4:00 p.m. (B)
