DESCRIPTION: The motor ships built in Germany and commissioned in 1990 are modern river vessels equipped with the latest navigational aids. They have been constructed to provide maximum comfort and safety on rivers, major lakes, waterways and reservoirs. Each ship features all outside staterooms with large picture windows and private facilities. Each cabin has individual temperature controls and air conditioning.
The dining rooms offer Russian and Continental cuisine. Ample deck spaces allow for unobstructed views. Aboard each ship you'll find a small shop, pleasantly appointed bar, music salon, theater and beauty salon. The deck plan varies slightly with additional Sun Deck cabins.

DESCRIPTION: The m/s Furmanov is a modern river cruise ship built in Germany in 1985. It was extensively renovated in 1995, and furnished with carpeting and furniture imported from the USA and Finland.
With its elegant restaurant, lavish public room de'cor, three tastefully furnished lounges and a splendid concert hall, the Furmanov resembles an exclusive 4-star Western hotel, and is considered to be the best big river cruise ship in Russia.
The ship is fully air conditioned with individual climate controls in each cabin. It is also equipped with the latest navigational equipment and satellite phone. The onboard art gallery has a large selection of original Russian paintings offered to passengers at specially reduced prices |
