DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1: Depart USA Board your overnight transatlantic flight (cost not included in land only price).

Day 2: Arrive in London, England Welcome to London! After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Hilton Olympia or similar.

Day 3: London/Amsterdam, Netherlands Drive through Kent to the port of Dover. Board the ferry to Calais in France, then travel through the French and Belgian countryside to the Netherlands. Continue to Amsterdam, and see the Mint Tower beside the floating flower market and Dam Square. There is time to take an optional canal cruise in a glass-covered boat. Accommodation: Ibis Schiphol or similar. (CB)

Day 4: Amsterdam/Rhineland, Germany Travel through the Dutch countryside, passing Utrecht and Arnhem. Cross into Germany and on to the picturesque Rhine Valley. Embark on a cruise on the Rhine River, sailing past little towns and vineyards. Disembark and continue to your hotel in the Rhineland city of Ludwigshafen. Accommodation: Europa Ludwigshafen or similar. (B,D)

Day 5: Rhineland/lake Lucerne, Switzerland Head to Heidelberg and take in views of the red sandstone castle. Continue through the Black Forest region and cross the border into Switzerland. Stop to admire impressive Rhine Falls before heading to the scenic region of Lake Lucerne. Accommodation: Himmelrich or similar. (B)

Day 6: Lucerne Orientation & at Leisure A tour of this medieval city highlights the Lion Monument, built in memory of Louis XVI’s courageous Swiss Guards, the Chapel Bridge and the Baroque Jesuit Church. Later, perhaps take an optional tour. Accommodation: Himmelrich or similar. (B,D)

Day 7: Lake Lucerne/ Paris, France Head north across the border into France. Travel through the Burgundy region with views of the vineyards. Arriving in dazzling Paris, your evening is at leisure. Perhaps take an optional illuminations tour of the city. Accommodation: Novotel Paris Est or similar. (B)

Day 8: Paris Sightseeing & at Leisure IYour guided sightseeing tour includes views of the Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Novotel Paris Est or similar. (B)

Day 9: Depart Paris You will be transferred to the airport (conditions apply), where your vacation ends. (B)

It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.

*Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 70-day advance purchase. Purchases within 70 days will incur additional shipping and handling fees. Travel is valid for these dates only. This is a nonrefundable, non-changeable purchase. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received.
Airport/Hotel Transfers: Unless specified above in the inclusions, transportation between the airport and hotels are not included. Travellers must make their own way to/from hotels via taxi or public transportation.
 
Tour Cancellations:
Not all tour departures are guaranteed. If it becomes necessary to cancel a coach tour prior to departure, we will offer the next available date at no additional land cost. If this is not acceptable, a full refund on all monies paid will be made. We cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to such a tour booking. If you purchase a non-refundable airline ticket, you are advised by these terms and conditions that we are not responsible for any cancellation penalties due to non-refundable airfares.
