DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Denver Welcome to Denver, the Mile-High City. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax. This evening meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Drink.

Day 2: Denver/Arches National Park/Moab Journey today via the ski resort of Vail into the heart of the Colorado Rockies. From here, follow the Colorado River to Arches National Park. Enjoy views of Red Rock canyons, balancing rocks and the largest number of natural stone arches in the world. There is plenty of time to take photos of the unusual and spectacular landscapes. Then on to nearby Moab for the night. (FB)

Day 3: Moab/Mesa Verde/Kayenta Travel south for a highlight visit to the striking ruins of Mesa Verde, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour the well-preserved cliff dwellings and get an insight into the daily lives of the ancient Anasazi who lived here for over 700 years. Then travel into Arizona and on to Kayenta, in the center of the Navajo Reservation. (FB,D)

Day 4: Kayenta/Monument Valley/Grand Canyon Your first stop today is Monument Valley, where a Navajo Indian guide takes you to the major sites in this sacred place. The vistas here are unforgettable. Then travel to the majestic Grand Canyon. Carved by the Colorado River over the last 5 million years, it is a wonder to behold. Overnight on the South Rim, with plenty of time to take in the Canyon's breathtaking scenery. (FB)

Day 5: Grand Canyon/Las Vegas This morning, you might want to take an optional flightseeing tour for spectacular bird's eye views of the Canyon. Later, journey across the desert to Las Vegas, the mecca of gambling and capital of jet-set glamour. (FB)

Day 6: Las Vegas A full day at leisure to enjoy the many activities available in this colorful playground. Perhaps play a round of golf, go shopping in the exclusive Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace or simply relax by the pool. Be sure to try your luck with the "one-armed bandits" or another game of chance. Tonight you might want to see a dazzling Las Vegas show. (FB)

Day 7: Depart Las Vegas Transfer to Las Vegas McCarran Airport for your homebound flight. Extra nights are available if you wish to extend your stay. (FB)
