DAILY ITINERARY

Day 1 BOARD YOUR OVERNIGHT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.

Day 2 ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA.
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3 JOHANNESBURG / MAUN, BOTSWANA.
Fly to Maun, then on to your first camp where you will be begin your 6-night safari. (B,L,D)

Days 4-8 BOTSWANA EXPLORATION.
With a marvelous diversity of flora and fauna, the vast Kalahari Desert and the immense floodplains of the Okavango, Botswana is truly unforgettable. While on safari you will travel by six-passenger, open land vehicles, take guided walks and ride in mokoros (canoes). During your six night safari, stay in three Safari Camps. Transportation between camps is by bush airplane. (B,L,D daily)

Moremi Game Reserve - Khwai River Lodge: Moremi is considered to be one of the most beautiful reserves in southern Africa. Encompassing mopane and acacia forests, lagoons and swamps, this is an excellent place to spot hippos, lions, wild dogs and more. Your camp here sits on the edge of a forest, overlooking the Khwai River. Twin-bedded, en suite luxury tents have A/C, safe and a private deck.

Okavango Delta - Eagle Island Camp at Xaxaba: This beautiful, unspoiled wilderness region is one of the largest inland water systems in the world. The maze of meandering rivers, lakes and lagoons attracts a wide variety of wildlife and hundreds of species of birds. With an island setting, your camp offers luxurious, twin-bedded, en suite tents with A/C, hairdryer and more. Enjoy fine dining and the romantic Fish Eagle Bar.

Chobe National Park - Savute Elephant Camp: With one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife found in Africa, Chobe is an outstanding park to visit. Elephants are particularly numerous and buffalos, zebras, and giraffes congregate along the river. In the heart of Chobe NP, your camp is perfectly situated for wildlife viewing. The twin-bedded, en suite luxury tents are well appointed.

Day 9 MAUN / JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA.
After a morning of game viewing, fly back to Johannesburg via Maun. Your evening is free. (B)

Day 10 DEPART JOHANNESBURG.
The day is at leisure for sightseeing on your own. Perhaps take an optional outing to Soweto. Later you are transferred to the airport for your return flight. (B)

Day 11 ARRIVE USA.

Check with us for the latest visa, passport and health requirements for South Africa and Botswana. The maximum baggage allowance within Botswana is 25 pounds per person including photographic equipment. Please use the soft bag provided and be prepared to store all excess. Passengers flying into and out of Maun may store baggage at Maun Airport. Hard-sided and overweight luggage can not be accept on charter aircraft within Botswana.
